Joan Didion, The Year of Magical Thinking
This course will teach you to feel more confident in understanding your grief and its impact on you, your relationships and your family. You will learn how to better support yourself whilst grieving, learn the many ways that grief affects us physically, mentally and emotionally and you will develop strategies for coping with your loss.
Grief Retreat
Grief can feel overwhelming, challenging and exhausting. Paul Mallon, Counsellor and Meditation guide has developed a series of guided meditations for grievers. These meditative exercises for grief can be simple mindfulness practices that can help you change your relationship to this very strong and sometimes overwhelming emotion. Meditation isn’t used to get rid of grief or suppress it. Instead, as you’re grieving, a mindfulness practice can help you deal with the myriad of feelings associated with grief. In the Grief Retreat webinar series you will seek to lessen the level of emotional overwhelm you are experiencing within your body and mind.
